The fact is, that teens need a lot more than good grades to finish school. You need to learn how to recognize the risks you face in your everyday lives, and how to survive by taking smart risks. The number one cause of death for Canadian teenagers is unintentional injury, or what many people mistakenly call "accidents".

Kids in the Know is a safety curriculum designed to empower children and reduce their risk of victimization. It focuses on building self-esteem through teaching critical problem-solving skills. The program uses an inclusive, community-based approach to heighten safety awareness. The core premise of the curriculum is based on key root safety strategies and environments which are reinforced and practiced throughout every grade level.

Zoe and Molly Online is a comic book created to supplement the Kids in the Know Program.  The comic reinforces the safety strategy from Kids in the Know called “If asked to share and your parents aren’t aware, say No”. This strategy promotes adult involvement and supervision by encouraging children to always check with their guardian first before sharing personal information with anyone.
